Saffron joined Downing in August 2021 as part of the Infrastructure Asset Management team. As a solar portfolio manager, she and her team focus on the technical performance and optimisation of the assets under management. Saffron comes originally from an operational drilling background, and has a BSc in Physics from Durham University. She holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from Brunel University London and prior to joining Downing, spent four years at WiseEnergy (GB) Ltd as an asset manager, first for ground-mounted solar PV installations and then for rooftop solar portfolios.
