Mehal is an Associate Director in our Energy & Infrastructure Investment team and has over 14 years of experience in the energy industry, primarily in principal investments. He leads many of our acquisitions in the UK, Nordics and India and completed transactions across the risk spectrum in solar, wind, hydro, battery storage and anaerobic digestion technologies.
Prior to Downing Mehal worked at a solar development start-up and thereafter at Centrica plc, most recently in its acquisitions and corporate development team.
Mehal is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BSc in economics from the University of Nottingham.
