Mate joined Downing in August 2024 as an Investment Analyst. He is responsible for supporting deal teams with financial modelling, deal management and bespoke quantitative analysis to ensure successful investment delivery and energy market analysis.
Before joining Downing, Mate worked at Baringa Partners as a Nordic market expert. There he worked with equity sponsors, lenders and developers in the renewable energy sector by offering commercial and strategic advice, as well as analytical solutions to alleviate challenges encountered in project finance.
Mate holds a MSci in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
