Wensum Solar LLP - Briar Chemicals
Wensum Solar LLP owns a 1.9MW ground mounted installation. The plant is built adjacent to the Briar Chemicals processing facility. Almost all of the power generated by the plant is sold to the facility. The plant also benefits from subsidy income under the Renewables Obligation Certificate scheme.
The plant is maintained by RenEnergy, the developer and construction party with asset management provided in-house by Downing.
