Downing committed funding for the installation of rooftop solar arrays on schools in Sussex and Surrey. The total portfolio size installed was 691 kWp across 15 sites. These installations are typically up to 50kW and qualify for Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) support for a period of 20 years.
Our investment partner, Ethical Power Limited, previously collaborated with Downing on the installation of a separate portfolio in 2011-2012 (which was sold to Aviva Investors in 2017).
Ethical Power Limited subsequently developed this portfolio and have provided O&M and asset management services since.
